Day 1: photography and the centre
Start around Rruga Kolë Idromeno and visit the Marubi National Museum of Photography, whose published address is Rruga Kolë Idromeno 32. Check the current exhibition, opening days and ticket options on the museum’s visitor page before choosing your date.
Leave the afternoon for the pedestrian streets, cafés and a relaxed meal. If the weather is clear and you want a longer day, consider Rozafa Castle as a separate outing. Account for the uphill approach and the return journey; it is not part of a flat city-centre stroll.
Day 2: choose a lakeside outing
Plan an outing toward Shirokë on Lake Shkodër. Decide whether you want to cycle or arrange transport before setting off. With a hired bicycle, ask the rental provider about the route, road conditions, lights and the return deadline. Allow a generous return margin and choose transport instead if you are uncomfortable sharing roads with traffic.
Keep Mesi Bridge as an alternative excursion rather than adding every landmark to the same day. It is outside the centre and requires its own travel time.
If the weather changes
Move the museum visit to the wetter day, shorten outdoor plans and check conditions before cycling. Do not fit a mountain excursion into the remaining afternoon: Theth needs a separate plan.
Budgeting
Obtain dated accommodation quotes in the correct currency and check transport and museum prices separately. Ask whether a room quote includes breakfast and whether transport includes waiting time.
